Bible: 2 Peter 3:6-14
Title: New Heavens and a New Earth Belongs to the Righteous
Main Verse:  “But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” (2 Peter 3:13)

Introduction
The righteous will not die. The righteous will not perish. The righteous is fresh and green forever. The world nation and the family of the righteous is everlasting. There are fullness of life and peace where the righteous is. There are overflowing of happiness and hope where the righteous is. The righteous will live. Even if thousands may fall a disaster cannot come upon the righteous. Although the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will be melted the righteous will inherit the new heavens and the new earth.

Main Subject
1.            What is righteousness?
(1)            There are true righteousness and man-made righteousness. False righteousness deceives and is deceived. Those who follow false righteousness will die and perish.
(2)            There are only two true righteousness. One is God’s righteousness and other is man’s righteousness. All creations in the heavens and the earth appeared and are being preserved by the power of the three exceedingly great things. Righteousness is being in union directly with the three exceedingly great things. These three are the nature of God the Inspiration in which the nature of God is at work and the truth as it is appeared in the Bible.

2.            The righteousness of God is God coming down as man in which Jesus who is true God and true man and One Person in divine and human natures came for the sake of the elect to be in union with these three exceedingly great things(nature of God Inspiration and truth). It is this union that satisfied the intelligence and fairness of the law of God and His omniscience. This is the righteousness of God. It was this righteousness that completely overcame the devil sin death and the world. It was also this righteousness that kept all the authority in the heavens and the earth. This righteousness that has been established was given freely as grace to the elect which is the redemption of Jesus.

3.            What is man’s righteousness?
The righteousness that has been accomplished by God for the sake of the elect has been put on to the elect. It was put on completely by grace. It is man’s righteousness when the elect puts on the righteousness of God by grace and does not give in to the world devil devil’s people sin death temptation and compulsion but rather preserves it. This is the righteous man righteous family righteous country and righteous church. Nothing in the heavens and the earth will be able to harm a Christian if he only does not let righteousness get taken away even though his possessions body and life does. He will also receive the heavens and the earth as his inheritance and live with Christ as a priest prophet and king eternally.

1. 의가 무엇이뇨?

(1) 의에는 참 의와 인조 의가 있다.
    가짜 의는 속이고 속는 것들이다. 거짓 의를 따르는 자는 결국은 죽고 망한다.
(2) 참 의는 둘뿐이다.
    하나는 하나님 의요 또 하나는 사람의 의다.
    하늘과 땅과 그 가운데 가득찬 만물은 지극히 큰 3가지 능력으로 생겨졌고 또 그 힘으로 보존되고 살아간다.
    의는 막바로 지극히 큰 이 3과 결합으로 하나된 것이 의다.
    3은 하나님의 본체와 본체의 역사인 영감과 성경으로 나타난 진리다.

2. 하나님의 의는

하나님이 사람되어 오셔서 참 하나님이시요 참 사람이신 신인양성일위인 예수님이
택자를 대신하여 이 지극히 큰 셋(하나님의 본체 영감 진리)과 결합하기를
하나님의 전지의 지성과 지공법에 만족을 이룬 결합이 하나님이 하신 하나님의 의다.
이 의는 마귀와 죄와 사망과 세상을 완전히 이겼고 하늘과 땅에 있는 권세를 다 가지게 되었다.
설정한 이 의를 택자들에게 거저 은혜로 주신 것이니 곧 예수님의 대속이다.

3. 사람의 의는 무엇이뇨?

하나님이 이루신 의 곧 택자를 대신하여 이루신 의를 택자들에게 입혀 주셨다.
순전히 은혜로 입혀 주신 것이다.

사람의 의는 택자들이 하나님의 의를 은혜로 입고
세상과 마귀와 마귀의 사람들과 죄와 사망의 유혹이나 강제에 빼앗기지만 아니하고 보존만 하면 사람의 의가 된다.
이것이 의인이요 의의 가정이요 의의 나라요 의의 교회다.
기독자는 예수님이 주신 하나님의 의를 소유와 몸과 생명과 온갖 것을 다 빼앗겨도 의만 빼앗기지 아니하면
천상천하에는 해할 자가 없고 하늘과 땅의 것을 다 유업으로 상속받고
영생과 영원한 제사장 선지자 왕으로 그리스도와 함께 산다.
