Bible:  Luke 14:25-35
Title: A Disciple of Jesus
Main Verse:  “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters yes and even his own life he cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:26)

Introduction

A disciple is one who learns from the teacher and becomes like the teacher.  A disciple is one who becomes like the teacher in having the intelligence love virtue position authority and glory of a teacher.  The teacher mentioned in the text is Jesus Himself.  Jesus is true God and true man.  Therefore it is said that being a disciple is when a believer becomes a true man and like Jesus have power intelligence glory authority position possessions rules and other things.  Becoming like Jesus in all aspects is being His disciple.  There is nothing more noble and successful as a creature in the heavens and the earth than being a disciple of Jesus.  A Christian has the greatest hope which the world does not know.  It is due to the redemption of Jesus that we have this exceedingly great hope.  Our capital needs to be that much greater because this is an infinite success.  The capital and means will be talked about next.

Main Subject

1.  A disciple must be without sin be righteous make peace with God have guarantee of the truth and the Holy Spirit have eternal life citizenship in heaven resurrection that transcends time and space and a glorious body.  This is an exceedingly great qualification in which it is absolutely impossible for any created things in heaven and earth can have.  However the elect have already received this grace by the redemption of Jesus Christ.  Although we have received this great thing there are too many people who themselves do not know this great fact.

2.  No created thing alone can accomplish a one-hundred-millionth of this great success which is becoming a disciple of Jesus.  There is only one way to accomplish this great success which is becoming a disciple of Jesus and that is being united to the self-existent omniscient and Almighty and creator God.  Due to Jesus Christ we Christians are already united by the holy and fair law.  With the relationship that already has been put on to us we only need to get through each reality.  We are to go through all of the realities by not taking off this relationship.  To become a disciple of Jesus Christ which is becoming a disciple of heaven means that everything in heaven and earth becomes theirs.  There are only few people who believe this because it is such a great truth.  However this is a promise from the unchangeable God.

3.  Therefore the great success and failure of every Christians are decided in the reality.  We are not to have our forgiveness justification and reconciliation that already came from the works of the redemption of Jesus be taken away from the world.  We can become a disciple of Jesus if we never let go and continue in the matter of looking only at God trusting only in God and submitting only to God.  However it is extremely difficult if we try not to lose hold of this and try not to get this taken away from us because it means that we must be prepared to have our possessions bodies families and even our lives be taken away from us even though they are valuable.  Also we must have these things taken away from us in order to become His disciple.

Jesus said that none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.  This means that whatever may happen in order not to lose hold of this one thing of becoming a disciple of Jesus we are not to look back but be prepared to always practice and endure.  Jesus also said “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters yes and even his own life he cannot be My disciple.”  We must be prepared and not lose hold of this.  Even though these things have been taken away from us they will again be ours eternally if we succeed in becoming His disciple.

Answer:  It is becoming a disciple of Jesus.

To continue in this means to be prepared to offer everything and endure by fighting at the risk of one’s own life.

진리와 성령의 보증이 있어야하고 영생과 천국 시민권과 시공을 초월한 부활 영화의 몸이 있어야 한다.
이는 지극히 큰자격인데 천상 천하의 피조물로서는 아무도 가질 수 없는 절대 불가능의 자격이다.
그러나 택자들은 예수 그리스도의 구속으로 된 것을 이미 은혜로 받고 있다.
이 큰 것을 받아 있으나 이 큰 실상을 자신도 모르는 자가 너무 많다.

예수 그리스도의 제자 되는 이 큰 성공은 피조물 단독으로는 누구나 그 억억만만의 일도 못 이룬다.
이 큰 성공 곧 예수님의 제자되는 길은 단 한 길뿐이니
영원 자존자 전지 전능자 창조주 하나님과 연합에서만 되는 한 길이 있다.
우리 기독자는 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 이미 지성과 지공법에서는 되어 있다.
이미 되어 있는 이 관계를 현실 현실에서 한번 입은 대로 통과만 하면 된다.
벗지 아니하고 현실현실을 다 통과만 하면 된다.
예수 그리스도의 제자 곧 천국 제자된 자는 천상 천하의 것은 다 그의 것이 된다.
이는 너무 엄청나는 일이라 믿는 자가 적다. 그러나 불변의 하나님의 언약이다.

그러므로 우리 기독자는 누구나 대성 대패는 다 현실에 있다.
예수님의 대속의 공로로 이미 되어 있는 사죄 칭의 화친을 세상에게 빼앗기지 아니하고
하나님만 바라보고 하나님만 의지하고 하나님에게만 복종하는 이 일을 끝까지 놓지 아니하고 계속만 하면
예수님의 제자가 되는데 이를 놓지 아니하고 빼앗기지 아니하려고 하면 얼마나 어려운지
소유 몸 가족생명까지도 아깝지만 이 제자됨을 빼앗기지 않기 위하여는 이런 것을 빼앗길 각오도 하고
또 빼앗기기도 하여야 한다.

어떻게 된다 할지라도 이것을 돌아보지 아니하고 예수님의 제자되는 이 한 가지만 놓지 아니하려고 각오하고
실천 인내하여야 하는 것을 가리켜서 있는것을 다 버리지 아니하면 능히 내 제자가 되지 못한다고 하셨다.
또 부모 형제 처자 목숨보다 나를 사랑치 아니하면 또 능히 내 제자가 되지 못한다고 하신 것이다.
