Text: 1 John 5:5-8
Title: Complete Assurance(or Guarantee?)
Key verse: “I tell you the truth a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.” (John 5:25)

1.            There is a responsibility when the assurance is given.  To borrow the money from the bank you need to give the bank assurance by making a person or the land as the collateral.  The amount of money one can get out of a loan would depend on the ability of the guarantor.  To go to a foreign country you need someone to give you assurance and also have a good finance.  To get accepted to a University you need to provide assurance of the teacher who provided the test the assurance of one’s father and/or older brother and the assurance by providing one’s background information.  To gain citizenship from the country means to get the country’s assurance.  Thus there is a great difference between the weak citizen and the strong citizen because the assurances of the countries are different.

2.            Many people during Noah’s flood felt they had the assurance from the various resources and relied on them but the one bigger than those resources was God and those resources the people felt assured about and trusted as well as any other assurance were of no use because they were destroyed by the flood.  Thus the eight family members of Noah were victorious against the destruction of the flood because of the assurance they received from the big and powerful God.  They were very successful for obeying the assurance that came from the Word of God.

3. Everyone born in this life those who are dead and those who are alive are going to meet a bigger destruction and salvation than what happened during Noah’s flood.  No one can escape this big issue.  The destruction of sin destruction of unrighteousness destruction because of being an enemy with God destruction of truth and destruction because of God’s Holy Spirit.  These are the five destructions.  By what background can we escape and who is going to be responsible for us and assure us and give us salvation when these destructions come upon us?
           This is a big problem.  Even if the entire world were to help we are still faced with this problem.  We can easily run away and receive the five perfect salvations which will give us eternal life and peace only if we receive Jesus’ forgiveness justification reconciliation and the redemption of his blood today in our given reality.  If we do not let go of this and again in our reality be obedient to the whole Bible and submit to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit then we can receive these five salvations.  If we accept these five witnesses and try to live according to these witnesses in our reality and pass the test then we can get assurance from God the truth and Jesus’ redemption who will be responsible for us.  By doing this we can completely defeat these five destructions and stand tall in our salvation.

보증이란 책임진다는 말이다. 은행에 돈을 빌려도 사람이나 토지로 보증을 세워야 한다.
보증자의 실력에 따라 빌릴 수 있는 차용 액수는 달라진다.
외국에 갈 때도 그 나라에 보증할 사람이 인물보증 재정보증을 서야 들어갈 수 있고
학교도 시험관의 합격 보증과 학생에 대한 학부형의 재정과 신원 보증이 있어야 한다.

국민이 나라에 호적을 신고하는 것은 자기 나라의 보증을 받기 위함이다.
약소국 국민과 강대국 국민은 나라에 따라 국민이 가질 수 있는 권한은 심히 차이가 있다.
이것은 그 나라의 보증 실력 차이 때문이다.

2. (노아 때의 경우)

노아 때 수많은 사람이 각각 자기를 보증하는 각종 보증을 믿고 있었지만
그들이 믿던 보증보다 크신 하나님이 홍수로 멸망시키니까 인생은 의뢰한 보증과 함께 멸망했다.
세상에 최대 최강이신 하나님이 보증하신 노아 8명 식구만 보증하신 그 말씀대로 순종했다.
그들만 홍수 멸망을 이겼고 도리어 홍수 멸망으로 큰 성공을 얻게 되었다.

3. (영원한 흥망)

죽은 사람이나 산 사람이나 인생으로 태어난 자는 노아 홍수보다 더 큰 멸망과 구원을 맞아야 한다.
이것은 아무도 피할 수 없는 영원한 문제이니 이 문제가 제일 큰 문제이다.
인생의 멸망은 5가지로 멸망을 당하는 것이니
죄로 멸망 불의로 멸망 하나님과 원수된 것으로 멸망 진리로 멸망 성령 하나님으로 멸망한다.
이 멸망이 올 때에 무슨 배경으로 피할 것이며 누가 책임지고 보증해 주시므로 구원을 얻을 것인가?

이는 참 큰 문제이다. 천하가 다 달라들어도 할 수 없는 문제이다.
이 멸망을 무난히 피난하고 오히려 5 가지 완전 구원으로 영생과 평강을 얻는 방법이 있다.
오늘 이 세상에서 현재라는 현실에서 예수님의 사죄 칭의 화친의 대속을 받은 자가 이 3가지를 붙들고
또 현실에서 신구약 성경 말씀에 순종하고 성신의 감화에 복종하는 2가지 총 5가지를 붙드는 것뿐이다.
이 5가지 증거를 받아 증거대로 현실 현실을 살아 통과하면
하나님
진리
예수님의 대속 3가지가 책임지는 보증을 받게 된다. 그리고 5가지 멸망을 완전히 이기고 구원에 우뚝 선다.

요절：진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 죽은 자들이 하나님의 아들의 음성을 들을 때가 오나니 곧 이때라 듣는 자는 살아나리라 (요 5：25)

1. 보증이라는 것은 책임진다는 것이다. 은행에 돈을 빌려도 사람이 보증을 서든지 토지로보증을 세우든지 하여야 돈을 빌린다. 보증자의 실력에 따라 차용 액수는 정하여진다. 타국에 갈 때도 그 나라에 보증이 될 만한 사람이 인물 보증 재정 보증을 서 주어야만 들어갈수 있고 학교 입학도 시험관의 합격 보증과 학생에 대한 부형의 재정 보증과 신원 보증이있어야 입학을 시켜 준다. 어느 나라 국민이 호적하는 것은 자기 나라 보증을 받기 위함이다.
그러므로 약소국민과 강대국민의 권력은 심히 차이가 있으니 이는 보증하는 그 나라의 실력차이 때문인 것이다.

2. 노아 때에 수많은 사람이 각각 자기를 보증하고 있는 각종의 보증에 등을 대고 있었지만그 보증보다 세력이 크신 하나님의 홍수 멸망이 올 때에 인생이 각각 의뢰했던 보증과 자체가 한꺼번에 홍수 멸망을 받았던 것이다.
최대 최강의 하나님이 보증하신 노아 여덟 식구만 보증하시는 말씀대로 순종했을 때에 홍수멸망을 이겼고 도리어 홍수 멸망으로 큰 성공을 얻게 되었다.

3. 죽은 사람이나 살아 있는 사람이나 인생으로 태어난 자에게는 노아 홍수보다 더 큰 멸망과 구원을 맞이하게 된다. 이는 아무도 피할 수 없는 영원히 없는 큰 문제이다. 죄로 멸망불의로 멸망 하나님과 원수된 것으로 멸망 진리로 멸망 하나님이신 성령으로 멸망 이 다섯 가지 멸망이다. 이 멸망이 올 때에 무슨 배경으로 피할 것이며 누가 책임지고 보증해 주시므로 구원을 얻을 것인가?

이는 참 큰 문제이다. 천하가 다 달라들어도 할 수 없는 문제이다. 다만 무난히 피난하고 다섯 가지의 완전 구원 영생과 평강을 얻는 것은 오늘 이 세상에서 현재라는 현실에서만 예수님의 사죄 칭의 화친의 대속을 받은 자가 놓지 아니하고 또 현실에서 신구약 성경 말씀에순종하고 성신의 감화에 복종하는 것뿐이다. 이 다섯 가지 증거를 받아 증거대로 현실 현실을 살아 통과하는 것은 하나님과 진리와 예수님의 대속이 책임지시는 보증을 받는 것이기때문에 다섯 가지 멸망을 완전히 이기고 구원에 우뚝 선다.
